08 82nd owners
Email I just got from my dealer:
Bowtech will not sell any of the parts to convert a 2008 82nd into a 2009 version.
They say doing that would de-value the new 2009 models if it were that easy to upgrade.
They recommend just removing the top stopper and buying aftermarket for the STS.
Sorry, I tried.
I was wanting an 09 roller guide. I put a P.O.S. String stopper on my 08 and removed the factory string stopper. Dang Bowtech...all I wanted was a 09 roller guide.

RE: 08 82nd owners
I left my Short Stop on and just replaced the rubber insert. Easy fix and that plus a Mini MeanV and it was very Quiet.
I have guys that have done both like I did, and some remove the top suppressor and just add a Mini MeanV.
The Mini MeanV Maximum is now available, and the Maximum models have been very impressive.

My 82nd was quiet to begin with, now it's even better.

Just waiting on the exchange rate to improve and I will be ordering a Mean V. Will have to check out the mini maximum before I do!
For you guys that have them do they make a lot of difference?

Depends on the bow really but yes, they do work! I was surprised. (Sorry Dan, the MeanV was my first).

RE: 08 82nd owners
My bow is pretty quiet with my POS on it..basically a string stopper is a string stopper..just cosmetically I wanted the new rollerguide. I have a flower child sister that is into beads and stones and I am going to have her get me a cool black stone of some kind to fill tha tstring stopper hole so it looks like it was meant 2 be there.

RE: 08 82nd owners
I have had them(MeanV's)on both my 07 Commander and more importantly to this thread, my 08 101st. They make big difference IMO. On the 101st I ordered a Mean V to match as soon as I ordered the bow. I just took the factory off. Would it be cool to order a new roller that didn't have the hole in the end, maybe, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. Order a Mean V and roll with it like that.
Here is the Commander in the MO Brush.
The 101 in MO Max 4.
