Not only am I jealous of Rob for his hunting skills and experiences, but I wish I were as good of a human being as he always seems to be. Truly an A+ guy who is willing to share his knowledge to help others and I thank him for being a part of this community.

Yeah thats a great bowkill, I've always admired that photo of you and your bear, nice read as well, very cool. I really like blackbear hunting, spot stock mostly both rifle and bow...but I have to be honest I think being on the ground with a griz would get to me a bit, i'd love todo it or at least try it if I lived in AK...I almost took a teaching job up there right out of college, your gonna laugh but my main reason for not going was that AK didnt have whitetails.. I couldnt leave them and Idaho has about everything else a guy could wanna hunt so I opted to stay down here and work..

It's the only other place I'dlive if I wasn't here. I lived in Lewiston for a year while I was working up here seasonally and loved it.

Wow, that's a great story. I can't imagine what must have been going through your head when he stopped in range looking right at you with no shot[] I loved the "Besides that, he'd know where it came from."

Maybe that's why they only let us take one every 4 years. It takes that long for them to drop again!!!

Can you post up that Mountain Goat Pic for us please? I had it saved I thought, but lost it. That is one of the coolest hunting photos I've ever seen.
