One of the hints he shared with me, is to park his vehicle in an area like a parking lot. Then he takes his mountain bike into the intended strip of land to hunt.
Here he is after another successful hunt[8D]

Very possible to do in NH. About impossible where I live now. All private land requires permission.

Not suprised in the least bit. You should see some of the 'burb bucks around here. I don't have the guts to sneak into some of the places that i know guys go into.

I know some guys that use some very similar tactics. As Rybo said, I guess I just don't have the guts to try to pull that off. When I'm looking over my shoulder while hunting I want it to be because I thought I heard a deer, not wondering if someone is onto me.

Different strokes though. His results are certainly impressive.

Understood and that was my thoughts exactly 7 or 8 years ago.

It's actually part of the challenge to elude people along with deer!
Trying to use humans or other hunters as apart of your setup is very challenging and I have grown accustomed to the suburban hunting method along with big woods.
It's all hunting to me, but doing it closer to home allows more time in the woods.
Remember the old saying "if Mommas happy, everyone's happy"!!![&:]

I would like to try suburban hunting but here in MD it is illegal unless you get permission:

Hunt or shoot at wildlife within 150 yards of an occupied structure or camp without permission of the owner or occupant.

I carry a range finder and it's 100 yards for NH.

This guy was literally 101 yards from a house and 202 yards (coincidence) from another, pushing the envelope!
* The neighboring house happened to be having a new roof installed while I was sitting in my stand. I was listening
to the nail guns and plywood slam down on the rafters every few seconds.
He walked out in my patch of woods and he never cared until I...
