How long did you wait?

RE: How long did you wait?
On a side note I would not call it how long I waited, but rather how long it took for a deer to stop in range. I had no plans to wait on anything or let anything go...any deer in range was going to get an arrow loosed.

RE: How long did you wait?
I guess two years..........It took me an entire season to get up in a tree and decide that my chances were better there than sitting, and stalking sandhills. About 3 days , first time in a treestand, I miss a doe at 35 yrds, first deer I ever shot at with my bow 30 min later a little 6 comes out on same trail, put it to him and watched him crash, an experience I will never forget.

I hunted about 30 times my first season (2005) and finally decided to take a shot (though it was ill-advised) on the closer, that season. I missed.
Sept. 30th of 2006 I took my next shot. I took this guy home with that shot.
