Default Filming Your Own Hunts

Does anyone know a simple / inexpensive method for filming your own hunt. I am by no means looking for professional quality footage, I would just like to have a way to look back on past hunts. Thanks for any help.

Pick up a cheap digital video camera, either mini dvd or HD card and a cheap tree arm and have at it.

For what you're wanting to do, I'd go to Best Buy or the local Wally World and pick up a Handy cam or whatever they're called. Very neat little camera for the money.

I use my handy cam and the Pine Ridge arm for climbers. Very simple to so, lightweight, and I only have one bolt to worry about, to attach the arm to the climber. when I walk in, the stand is on my back, bow in hand, cam in the other. Pretty easy to do, and very cheap.

On the same note here, I'm looking for a camera under 1,000 dollars the lower the better that is good for shooting wild-life with high quality. My preference is a digital SLR camera but I'm worried about the noise of the shutter. Any pointers???

On the topic of this thread, I've used a handy cam for filming and it does the job just fine
