Bawana, Same to you and yours!!! The tree problem is an easy fix, either cut a hole in the floor or ceiling and it'll fit just fine!

I was thinking the ceiling, a couple of turkey loads should get the job done.

Lots of people go about their giving, anonymously.
+1, is it really giving or charity if you feel the need to share with others that you have given?
What, thatchanges the fact that it's a gift/charity?People let Uncle Sam know about charity all the time.

We always give to charities over the holidays but for the last five years we havebeen giving to charities in the kids names and given them a little less.. We have explained that with as much as they have/get there are kids out there who get nothing.

Last year they gave to the Heiffer charity where they buy a family in need live chickens or goats or a heiffer or some other animal that keeps on giving. You can get a lot of miles out of a rooster and a dozen chickens. Teach a man to fish...

PS.. DOES NOT mean that I don't want something cool..

Great Point .... not sure why there are people trying to squash this thread ......... curious, doesn't the insinuation that one gives anonymously take away the charity side of it

Well even though im not sucessful at hunting and have 0 meat to dontate. Last month there was a food drive and I donated $1000 dollars worth of can goods to help the needy. I was planning on dontating most of the meat of a deer to hunters for the hungry. I also think that its important to not only give during the Holidays but all year long too. You can also donate your time volunteering in a soup kitchen and other ways.

kudos to all that do donate or help out. if you do the look on peoples faces is all the reward i need.

There was a guy near me that use to every year at around christmas go around handing 100 dollar bills to homeless and needy people. He would dress up as santa and noone ever knew his identity. he did this for i think about 30 years giving out (if i remember) over a million dollars. whenever someone would ask him why he would say it was the expression on the peoples faces and knowing he was making someones christmas alittle brighter.

I now hear they are expanding the "Secret Santa" to other towns.

Tony, you know out of all my illegitimate children, you're my favorite! So as you and your beautiful family sit around the living room on Christmas morning, Coop Daddy will be there with you in spirit wishing each and every one the warmth and hope that Christmas is meant to represent.

As for you wish list, I checked with the bearded fellow and he says you are out of luck. UPS won't deliver coal C.O.D!
