Switching from quikspins to blazers.

Switching from quikspins to blazers.
Since i bought my bow i have had quikspin vanes. I like them they shoot great groups from my bow.But if a arrow rubs another or it goes in straw or the dirt it trashes the vane. They just seem weak and easy to trash.
So i was thinking of switching to blazer since i am buying new arrows and a new sight. Figure if i need to re tune and sight in might be time to make the switch.
How strong are the blazers. The carbon express arrows i am looking at has the blazers. So it would end up costing me extra to stay with the quikspins.

I have heard that before tried it once did not work enough though the vane was really messed up

If your veins are getting all banged up, just use a blow dryer or steam from boiling a little bit of water.
Heat the veins up, they will go back to normal.
I usually stick the fletch end of the arrow in the freezer for a second or two, that way it gets its rigidity back real quick.

RE: Switching from quikspins to blazers.
get the quikspin ST's, the newest version.
they DO NOT get messed up even when passing through a hard 3d target.
the old quikspins were terrible for durability ,
but the new ST's are incredibly tough.

Different strokes....
I've used blazers for a long time....but switched to QS ST's just recently. If you own a Bowtech bow.....you know what I mean RE: blazers and clearance issues.
I don't have that problem with the QS's (to the degree I did with the Blazers).
I've also always wondered if we are receiving ANY benefit from Blazers at the distances most of usshoot from (hunting situations).
