Default Electronic Calls

I'm curious if anyone here has had verifiable good results using electronic deer calls, especially the 8 or 9 MP3 calls floating around on the net.

I downloaded a bunch of em to my cell phone and play a sound every now and then. The volume isn't very loud but should carry 30-40 yards which I feel is more than loud enough. I haven't had a visible response either way (or is the non-visual response proof of negative results?)

Just curious. I thought it was a great idea at first and GregH's post about the magic call got me thinking.

Not legal here in Missouri. Wouldn't use it if it was.

Not legal here either. And with all the other calls out there (grunt, antlers, bleat) I don't see a need for electronic calls.

Well Mottz - you hit the nail on the head with all the other calls out there.
IF they work (which is my question), then by being able to play the calls through one device which I already own and carry to the field, I can eliminate having to bring along all those other calls.

My buddy used one with a wirless speaker he could setup in another spot. He has used it with great success.
