How about you Ol Man climber fans
This is my first year bow hunting and one of the first things I found out is that my old back can't handle too much time in a hang on stand. But I also realized that I don't have that problem with a climbing stand. Recently a hunting buddy offered to let me buy his un used climber. Turns out it is an older model steel Ol Man. I have no knowledge of this brand. And I don't understand how it can be comfortable with no back to rest against the tree.
Any comments from those of you with experience. I've seen enough of these threads to know those of you who use this climber swear by it. Why?

I’ve sat many an all day sit in mine. My only thing now is that after almost 10 years my web seat has stretched out a little and droops down such that the bar in that area hits my tailbone. But a small camo cushion took care of that in a snap. As far as no back rest against the tree, that has never been an issue with me regarding comfort.
