I usually burn off 10 pounds during every hunting season.
I get beat up bad. And somehow I get back up.. over tired and thin.[&:]

Good point. I promise you our annual week long TX bowfishing trip is far and above more taxing than the entire deer season.

Deer hunting doesn't get me, besides the lack of sleep. I think it's just you old farts[8D]. If I wasn't going to bed after midnight on Fridays trying to get up at 330 to go hunting, I would function as normal. This Sunday I caught up on sleep while being down with sinuses and what not..I am reenergized and ready for the rest of the winter.
