We see a few 160s around us (within a few miles) killed every year but I have yet to take one in Oklahoma. Now if you go about 20 miles east they killed the archery state record NT a few years ago. Biggest I have seen is probably high 170s, seem to see one like thatevery other year during bow season from a distancebut never with a gun.

Well, the owner of the shop I shoot at shot a 186-0/8" non-typical here in Indiana County, PA in 1996. There have been several others shot in the 175"-189" range with rifles.

A couple years ago I saw a true monster that was shot off the farm bordering the property that I hunt but I haven't seen or heard anything about it since then. The guy was pulling out of a gaswell roadas I was heading to my stand and stopped and showed me a 14 point with a 28" inside spread. Easily a 170-180" typical.

Largest Typical from Kane County Illinois shot by Ray Schremp taped 196 6/8" typical in 2000 and was measured at the Boone and Crockett awards ceremony where it tied for second place that year.

There was a Giant Non Typical hit by a car a mile from my house last December that would have gone around 250". There is a member of this site that has video and pics of the buck.

Probably close to 180-190". Since it was in my area, im sure it was shot unethically, illegally, and undeserving by some guy thatll call himself a hunter but is really just a shooter with very little knowledge of hunting.

Back in 1981 the Missouri Monarch was killed by old age about 15 minutes from my house.

Though he wasn't killed by a hunter, I think he still stands as largest whitetail ever recovered.

333 7/8

2003 I believe- a 176 in typical 10 point Pender County NC aobut 15 minuets from my house.
That is the largest ever taken in my county

On Saturday, there was a 157 in, a 153 in, and a 144 in. All were taken in Pender County within 15-30 minutes from the house
