Default Nice and Waxy

Hey, whats all ur opinions on how often you should wax ur bowstring. Every time u shoot whenever u see a little bit of fiber fray or what. I dont know. I dont know if theres such thing as over waxing so please help me out.

I let my string get all white and fuzzy and then Deb at the bow shop grabs it and waxes it out disgust.



I don't recommend it for everyone tho'.

I usually wax mine every couple days, depending on how many shots I have put through it since that last time...........so I guess it is just whenever you think it needs a wax....

If im hunting in the rain or snow should i wax it more often to keep moisture out of the strings???? any thoughts

I don't think you can overwax it. I think as you shoot if there is excess wax you'll shoot it off. Keeping the moisture out probably happens but its syntetic anyway so I doubt water hurts it much unless it stays wet for a long time.

For mine I wax it when I notice it needs it. Usually just before season and sometime during season if I get out alot. Or if I'm shooting alot
