I'll see if I can find out where to get them. The rest is too good for the whiskers to wear so quick. I'll give Mike a call tomorrow.

ORIGINAL: TEmbry

I forgot who it was (OKBowhunter maybe?) but they had a killer idea, have two metal side walls on the outside of the bristles to keep them from wearing and flaring out.
That was me

It is the simplist fix for the problem. I think it would work great. I see no cons?

The new hostage pro's are out. They have the black(tougher) bristles on the bottom. They also come with three extra bristles(1 black, 2 red) I know Scottie/PA on AT has some in stock and they are pretty reasonably priced. As far as just buying replacements, I am not sure about that.

I called Bowtech and they're sending me bristles for me daughter's Hostage. Bowtech is only warrantying the Hostage Pro but persistence pays.

If my daughter can wearthe bristlesout with her Equalizer, then they will probably not last long on a faster bow.

Thousands of shots and my Whisker Biscuit rest looks the same as the day I bought it.....food for thought.

Germ and the rest of you Hostage PRO guys out there. I actually like the idea of this rest but I suspected this type if wear would happen you see the W/B bristles are supported by the other bristles so you don't get the flaring out and wear as is happening on the hostage. My other concern and I hope to get a honest answer is: has your arrow ever fallen through the gaps between the bristles? Especially now after their starting to wear and flair out?

My style of hunting is such, I keep my bow in hand from the time I get in position till the time I'm done hunting and if I bump my arrow I want to know it will stay put and not push through or fall off the rest.

Let me know, Germ give me a quick "field report" on the Hostage Pro. I like the look of it but have concerns in the areas listed above.
