My 9 year quest has ended!
My1st deer (4Pt buck) was taken on 11/19/99.I haven't had success since. That's 9 years! Well my luck changedlast Saturday (Nov 8). I was in my tree stand at first light. It was raining and drizzling most of the morning. I had a feeling that I was going to see some action so I stayed. 6 hours later (12:05 PM)I look up and see a buck 60-70 yards away. He started to walk away from my stand. I used my mouth (I practice calling)to give a doe in heat call. The deer(3 Pts) turned and started coming my way. At 20 yards the buck walked behind a treeallowing me to draw my bow. I held till he was at 12 yards and let the arrow fly. The deer didn't go far and I had my 2nd deer ever. When I figure out how to post pics, I will.
The deer weighed almost 170. Small antlers but I couldn't care less. I am thrilled!
