thats a question i cannot answer. i hunted on a farm in michigan where the deer were thicker than the corn.. i would walk out of my stand and the deer that were in the field would stay there. then when i got to my car and turned it on.. not maybe 3 minutes after i got in i would see eyes like crazy.. without a doubt they were waiting in the corn and after they saw me leave they would come and fill the hay field. it is absolutely insane. then you would have to drive 'defensively' on your way out of the two track so not to hit one.
p.s. awesome hunting and no idea how to get them to come out in the light.
