If you kill a big buck are do you drive around with the tailgate down for everyone to see or do you try to keep it hid and only tell/show good friends. Also why for either one.

I try to keep it hid and only tell close friends. People start puting 2 and 2 together and see your truck parked in certain places and guess what.....you suddenly have unwanted hunting company.

Nope.

I drive it like I stole it. Deer would slide out in a heartbeat.

I leave the tailgate up and also keep my tonuae cover closed just do to the fact that I live in the middle of the city pretty much and there are alot of people that would see the deer and might not be to excited about seeing a dead deer just hanging out in the back of someone's pick-up.

I keep the tailgate up. There is usually a big enough crowd whoring around the scales at the check-in station as it is.

Use to be a law here in Wi requiring that part of the deer must be showing.
So everyone kept the tailgate down. Now with my 168 you damn right I did.

I drive with the tailgate up but I strap the head so people can see the rack.
