I'll go against the grain and admit I like it. Getting up early doesn't bother me and it means I get to work an hour earlier after hunting. Most of my hunts are morning hunts during the week. If I do go out in the evening, I'm home an hour earlier which means I can see the kids before they go to bed. So I like it, but I make my own schedule at work. The DST doesn't change which days I can hunt.

Screw that...I woke up this morning, rolled half way out of bed and then rolled half way back in

Finally got up a few hours later, to a bright, sunny day
See any booners lately Anthony?

j/k man

The not being able to hunt after work thing is nothing less then heartbreaking in my mind.

I do not like it for hunting purposes...but I had a co-worker point out that it keeps kids from catching the bus in the dark every morning. Could save a life or prevent a kidnapping...you never know.

Obviously whoever came up with the concept is not a deer hunter. It doesn't help that they do it right when the rut is kicking in too.[:@]

I agree that it sucks for hunting... but there is some purpose behind the idea.

It prevents school children from waiting for the bus in the dark. I forget the statistics, but i saves a few kids lives every year because they are more likely to get hit by cars in the dark...

Move to Arizona, they don't use daylight savings time. Hawaii is the same way.

When i first light there. How far do you drive. 2:52? Wow. I drive an hour to my land and only get up at 4:45. If I had to drive any further, that required me to wake that early, Id go in the night before and campout.

Almost everyone I talk to hates the time change in the fall.
I hate it equally in the spring! Now I either get shafted out of hunting after work or have to take at least an hour leave to do it.
