I would bet moneythat this is a 2.5 year old. It's a small main frame 10 with a broken g-2, it's g-4's are hardly developed yet. This is going to be a 130's 10 point next year. Look at the distance from the tip of the nose to the corner of the eye, this is an indicator in many cases that it's imature.
Lots of guys get fooled on deer size, it's hard to compare the size of a rack when you have nothing to compare it toas a standard but a good thumb rule to spot a mature buck is to look at the depth of it chest cavity in realation to it's back legs. A mature buck has a very deep chest cavity, it will make itsrear end look verysmallin comparison. Your buck has almost the same size chest as rear which also helps confirm that this is a young deer.
