DIY Meat Processing Question
OK you do it your selfers. Got a question you guys. How many of you still use a hand crank meat grinder for your burger? More specifically the Keystone one? I run across a good deal on a Keystone 20 for$6...but not sure if it'd be worth breaking a $10 over. Id like to have an electric one, but right now can't justify it with Christmas coming up soon. Maybe next year.

RE: DIY Meat Processing Question
Funny you ask. I was butchering a doe I shot last week and went to grind the meat and had lost the blade to my hand grinder. Thats all ive ever used, a hand grinder. My grinder is so old, I can not find a replacement blade, so im going to have to buy a new one. Ill be buying a new hand grinder agian.
Why I like a hand grinder? Its cheap and easy to clean. Besides, my daughter would kill me if I bought and electric. She loves tocrank the grinder.

for 6 $ idon't think you could go wrong . An electric would be much better but a hand one will get the job done . some are able to hook up a motor to it instead of the crank maybe that is an option

Just seems like a pain. Used a grinder like this the last time and it clogged up. I guess I didnt get enough stringy stuff out and enough of the thin film on the muscle off.
