Cold weather helped out a lot. but the crops are still a problem but there on there way out if the rain holds out. There was a moster killed in marion county last night. I'll post a pic.

Yep, that's a monster no doubt.

I am hearing about bucks chasing does. A buddy killed a small 8 in Jersey County that was trailing a doe.

It still is early though. I wish I was in a tree instead of posting this post!

I've seen alot of small bucks chasing around doe and grunting at them. Crops still up in places (but coming out now) and it's supposed to warm up a little.. It's getting there but as always it takes time.. I'd say it's good so get out and hunt all you can but imo will be better second week of Nov...

I have been out several times this year and only seen 3 bucks(small 6, small 4 and a spike), none following or chasing. Not very much sign either. There are a lot of good shooter bucks on the property I am leasing. Seen a bunch of does though. The cold snap helped the movement, that was the only 2 days I saw the bucks. Supposed to be int the 70's for the next6-7 days.[:@]
