I had him on a field access road broadside to me so he was visible in both directions that the deer "should" come from. Each set dictates the situation. I understand and correct me if I'm wrong, normally a buck will approach it head on so I set it to offer me the best chance at a shot. I took a picture of him with my GL2 at that sit when I get home, I'll post it.
