NEW HOYTS FINALLY!

RE: NEW HOYTS FINALLY!
This looks like the same principle of design but just on the tech riser, and of course, more parallel limbs.
Not sure but looking at these pics, the cams look like a binary design.
Even the tech riser was done before Hoyt picked it up.
I could go on and on but you get the point.[:-]

Doesn't look like they did.[:-]
They have done some great things but just about everything we are seeing is just reintroduced technology.Granted, with many improvements but the ideas are not new.
Sorry I edited my previous post after your post.

If my life depended on a bow, Hoyt would be my choice....If i wanted the flashy latest craze and wanted somebody to look at me and get googly eyed with me, Id get a bowtech. Both are good bows, but I guess the guys with Hoyts dont have problems or just dont post about them.

Yea ive never heard a single problem about a hoyt on here. It seemed like not to long ago though there was some limbs braking on bowtechs. Thats the reason i went with a hoyt when i got a bow. I shot a bowtech and hoyt both shot extremley well.

The new bows don't look exactly like a bowtech though share a similar design. The speed of these alphamax bows are down from what a Katera shoots but will likely be smoother and quiter. At the end of the day I want a bow that I can beat a poacher over the head with and still hunt with. Hoyt is the obvious choice, I don't purchase bows to be trendy or follow the in crowd. I went in to buy a Bowtech this year after seeing their catalog and realized there was a more solid choice with the Katera. Glad to see Hoyt is changing up their bows and moving forward!

Well I have a Hoyt, and a Bowtech. Both are 2002 models. I have the vortec, and the patriot. I've had a problem with the hoyt, but not the bowtech. The cam on My vortec was all cockeyed and crooked. I got it fixed but it was a big hassle. Hoyt didn't want to help Me out.I've never had a problem with the patriot though. Its My target bow the hoyt is the hunting bow.
