looking for input
Hello everyone I am pretty new at this forum but I have been reading it for two years. I hunt 30 acres of woods (total farm about 400)in Illinois, now for almost 20 years. The last ten years I have been managing the property with great success. The property to the west of the woodsis a small wedge of about 15 acres, the farmer whofarms it gave a guypermission to hunt it,the only trees on it are theedge of my woods. This guy finds a tree that is just of my property puts a stand up( I mean like less than 5 feet),I have tried to talk to him about how selectiveI have been and the results. This guy has a mentality - IT'S BROWN IT'S DOWN.Any suggestions?

Try speaking with the land owner. If nothing else he should tag out quickly. As far as the tree stand on the line I have or should say hadone guy that could hunt 1500 acres but sits right on the line looking on to my property. Tell ya what I did to him a couple of years ago. I took an old feeder timer one that went off 30 min after sun up and 30 min befor sun set. I took the motor out and replaced it with a car alarm siren one of the ones that sounds like cop cars and fire trucks. Then took my climber and put it way up in an ol pine tree, camoed up real good. About 2 weeks into the season I went to check on it there it was still going off at dawn and dusk, but his tree stand way gone.

he won't tag out early in IL, you can shoot as many doe as you want and you can harvest 2 buck a year. The only thing I can say is if he shoots a deer and it goes on your property don't let him get it and if you find proof he does turn him in for trespassing. Maybe he will get the picture that way
