Lets take it a step further, then.....and make one big "equipment" thread.

There is already an equipment subforum.

Maybe we could just learn proper shot placement, that seems to have many questioning where the arrow should go.[:-]
It's all about numbers, Jimbo. If they make enough BMW's,.......they're bound to make a lemon every once in a while. When you build one car every few years......your percentages on getting that one right go up, exponentially.

You guys can't even look at a picture and agree if the deer is gonna die, trial and error is not a hunting style I was brought up with. If you poke holes in enough of them you will find some of them.
But hey "its just a deer"

You're taking my "it's just a deer" phrase WAY out of context (in defamation manner you've become famous for).

Like I said.....if you only shoot one every few seasons....your percentage of not having an "oops" goes up, exponentially. Shoot enough deer....and you're going to have a bad shot mixed in there, somewhere. The key is learning from them.

Oh....and I'm huge on Myspace, too

The key is learning from them.
The key is not using deer for target practice.[:-]

They make deer targets for that.

Does anyone else think they seem noisy in flight as they cut through the air?

Ladies and gentlemen......meet the only bowhunter in the history f the sport who has an unblemished, perfect hit and recovery record.

'Course....we all know better than that.

Tell us, Jim....did you learn anything from the deer you lost?
