Matt's X2's Recoveries. Video/Pics
Okay, after 2.5 days of trying I have Matt and Matt's (Matt's squared as we call them) recovery videos up. Now mind you, this is a very shortened version to get them to fit into Photobucket's 100mb restrictions.

And Matt's Buck:

Again, what a great time we had. As you saw in my part 1 & 2 videos, I had my sightings just no shooting.

Looks like a great time, guys. Nice to see a real track job, not one that was staged well after the deer was located. Did you give that hosting site a try for the larger files, Rob?

Thanks for posting these Rob, I appreciate it!
For those not with us this weekend, you can really see the body size of my buck at the end of that video when we were dragging him out. The horns really weren't that big on him, but he was as big (body wise) as any buck I've personally seen in PA. Matt actually said he was as big in the body as the 14pt he shot last fall. I've seen much larger in NY and VT.....but for PA he was a big boy with a big belly on him. I couldn't get his entire body to clear the ground in the barn when we hung him, but he had the scale at a hair over 165lbs (gutted) and his nose was still on the ground. I'm guessing he weighed in around 170-175lbs field dressed, and well over 200 on the hoof.
Thanks again guys for sharing this hunt with us, I look forward to having you all up again sometime soon!!
