There are a lot of gimmics out there! But I will never go into the woods without my cough silencer, butt out tool, and deer view mirror![8D]

i think the biggest gimmick out there is that doe pee that costs like thirty bucks for like a 4 ounce bottle, i can't remember the name, but i know a couple guys who bought a bottle, they both soaked a cotton ball in it and after that, the bottle was empty. they hung them on trees about thirty yards from their stands, and one guy had a nice buck walk within ten yards of it and he never even looked at it. thirty dollars wasted.

Sent Lock and Sent Blocker waste of money but clothing is nice. Silver lined clothing may have some potential and way cheaper then SL and SB so if you’re not convinced you’re not out 500.00 at least…

Sent Killer Sprays yes I think they do help, chlorophyll I think it does reduce the breath but not 100%. I just wish I could find a way to keep my darn feet warm… they sweat like no other, nearly tried everything…

I think the deal with the sent products is that they are not 100% so think of them like this, they are basically trying to reduce your sent signature so that the deer doesn’t think your right on top of it. Even though they still might dart out of there at the slightest whiff…

I think controlling our breath has the best merit maybe 80% of the sent signature. I really love the Dead Down Wind Products[/b] especially the $4 toothpaste and the $5 mouth spray, plus it even tastes good! The laundry detergent is good and so is the filed spray although it is pricey…

If you cant afford high end sent control then just wash your cloughs in baking soda, line dry outdoors and store in a plastic bag, cheap-o-la

Just like some say the Rage 2-Blade isnt the absolute BEST broadhead ever produced, and it obviously is.
So I guess I should scrap the cheaperMuzzy's that have been killing deer just as dead and just as fast asthe more expensiveRage?

As far as keeping your feet warm, have you ever tried Hot Tronics foot warmers. They are very expensive but you wont have to buy disposible warmers for your feet again. They were originally designed for snow skiers. I bought my pair from Cozy Winters online. Now I can wear my knee high rubber boots all season. The batteries are rechargable and depending on what setting you use can last a long time.

Gimmik is a matter of opinion. "another man's trash, is another man's treasure" as the old addage goes.
