Days Events, 10-09-08 (Video & Pic)
Well we changed things up and instead of Ben filming me, I decided to film Ben again. I really want to have Ben take a deer on film. I've done it plenty of times and I do enjoy the videoing.
Tonight we headed to a new stand that over looked an apple tree. Ben's got some good bucks on game cam from this area and we decided to see if they'd show. The landowner told Ben just the other day she looked out and saw several bucks around this tree in the evening.
We all but were skunked until last light when the does paraded to another adjacent apple tree. It was too dark by then for any footage but here's what we took from that stand.

And the only picture I took tonight. The Fall colors are starting to show themselves. It won't be long until Autumn release when it seems all the leaves fall at once. It's a magical time to be in the woods.

This is the guy that I wanted to see. I have alot of pics of him right at dark, just like this one.
I am gonna sit there again tomorrow. I am gonna take my "JV" camera team out. We shall see what happens. Rob is flying solo tomorrow and then taking his show on the road for the weekend. I was really surprised to get pretty much blanked the last two nights. Something has to break here shortly, it's only a matter of time.
