Default Dragging your deer out.

Hey Folks,
Has anyone ever used a tarp to drag a deer out .In Florida our terrain is mostly flat . My stand is a good 3/4 mile away..I bought a 6 x 8 foot tarp today..Instead of dragging my deer across dirt I was going to wrap/ tie it up and drag it out that way..Has anyone tried that before..I'll be pulling it over short bushes.., a little marsy land and than a trail.

The gray Walmart tarp { 4.98} fits nicely in my backpack..

Never useda tarp, but an old kids sled works good. Course in Florida, that may be a hard find

I got a $100 cart that breaks down and fits into a bag with back-pack straps. It's not the absolute best, but it works great and was worth the money. I like it because it fits anywhere once i take it apart.
