I had a VERY nice 16 guage J.P. Sauer side be side that went from a locked trunk to the roof of my car. That gun had more engraving than a plate for a $50.00 dollar bill. I will never own as fine a gun.

I then got in my truck and drove off never to see my beloved double again.Talk about a MAJORbrain fart. Still feel sick to my stomach if I think about it to much (sigh)

Wow, that really sucks! I've heard of bows being run over before but not with all of the damage suffered by it and your truck.

That does suck. I have to ask, what were you thinking when trying to rock the truck out of a ditch with a brand new bow and everything else in the back? Were you drinking by chance?

Is this going to become a new way to test broadheads?[&:] Sorry, it really sucks. When I get to the truck the first thing I always do is put my bow inside the cab. I have a quad cab and leave the back seat open for the bow.

You have my sympathy ole buddy, knowing you- you have a backup bow but if you need one, give me a shout. I have a few laying around. Get a BowTech.... when you run over them , they tear your tire off and chew on it. Tough bows.

Man I have an admiral on the way and I love bowtech and all that... but comparing a bowtech to a Hoyt when it comes to toughness is like betting on a chicken in a fight with a fox. Hoyt makes one of the toughest, best built bows period.

I find it amazing that the riser isn't bent up like a crushed beer can.... they might weigh a little more.... but those risers are like crow bars.

Sorry to hear about the bow 5 shot... tough break.
