One more quick note before I disappear to my archery room for a couple hours..........[:-]

You remember how I harped about the speeds and how Bowtech was maybe being conservative and keeping the advertised number toward the top end etc etc. so everyone would be happy??

Yeah my Birth Certificate officially reads..........71.2# (bottomed), 29" (have to measure but actually feels a touch short?)
= 314fps

The Admiral is rated at 312-320fps top end, and that 314fps birth certificate number was shot with 2 string silencers, brass nock set and 2 eliminator buttons.
So all indications on my bow is that even if I knock it back the 1# it's over it would probably do close to the top end speed with a bare string........AT 29".

Oh happy day.

Once again........later suckers.
Curious, the advertised speeds on the Marquis stayed the same. Did they apply the same thinking, of understating the speed as to not disappoint, to the Diamond bows...Just curious if they milked a little more speed out of the Marquis?

Getting a bow one day and hunting with the next isn't ethical!![8D]

Ask him about his 2004 Liberty he got one day, killed a deer the next and said he used thefresh box scent as a cover scent...[8D]

P.S. I think that was the year and model bow it was...

Lucky man. Looking forward to the review and pictures. Maybe you will get to strike your new hero shot pose with it, too.

The only thing that I have had to get me excited about was when all of my new plumbing fixtures that Iordered show up at my house while I was at work one day. Wanna trade?

You mean 2 1/2 HOURS later. Out of the box at 1pm, dead buck at 3:30.
