I received my Magnus Snuffers today. Even though I have been shooting my G5's like money lately, I am gonna play around with the Magnus Snuffers...I screwed them onto my Beman Camo Hunters and I noticed that they are the baddest looking broadhead I have ever seen! They are just bad a! Just some sharpening here the next few days and I will see what these bad boys are all about!

I went up from 100 grain G5's to the lightest Snuffers they had at 125 grains. I will start popping them at targets tomorrow.

T-Minus 3 hours to see what those snuffers will do to my target at home! I am pumped, they look great.

I would imagine the angle of attack on those things would make for great penetration.

Oh, and what kind of traditional bow are you shooting? Steve shoots his Snuffers out of a recurve. j/k, I know you meant the BHs. I am giving them a go this year as well. I'm using them from my longbow. They can be a bit tricky to get sharp. use crock sticks. There was a whole thread devoted to this last week. Between that and several PMs back and forth between Shultzy and I and he walked me through to success.

Man, i was thinking if you could get those things razor sharp, given that angle, the penetration would be incredible even out of the lightest bow

They can be gotten razor sharp. It does take a bit of work though. I have yet to shoot one into or at an animal so although I believe they will give outstanding penetration I can't give first hand testimony of that..........yet!
