Congrats on the success. I know I certainly am blessed in the fact that I get to go up into the mtns. about when ever I want. Listening to bugling elk is a great way to spend time. Looks like you guys were in a good area. Maybe you can get your friend to share some of the meat!!

that is so neat I would love to live there, actually I would love to line in MT and have a view of the mountains but any way congrats to your friend

Listening to the elk is as good as a reward as getting one.

Hard to believe that the week went so darn fast...52 weeks till I can do it again

PS. I would need a GOOD friend to give up some elk meat

Congrats to you and your buddy Rob, I know you had a good time, but I'm sure you'd have been happier having a freezer full of elk to go with it. It's a self-less act to call and give up the opportunity to hunt while trying to set your buddy up, but also very rewarding and part of what helps seal a good hunting partnership. Great pic's, can't wait to see the video.
