ok i thought about takeing the pop up blind and sit and a field i have been watching. i decied against it due to scent and the truck being low on gas.

I then could not stop thinking wonder if there are any deer in the field or the one 50 yards from my stand. I then come up with the idea to ride the scooter out there. 80 miles per gallon would cost like 20 cents.
I did in a teeshirt and blue jeans. When i get through town and hit 30 mph. I got real could. There where no deer in the main field or the one near my stand. I rode around the other side down a gravel road to check the back side. It was just day light out and i could seea set of eyes just on the other side. But due to fog and it not completely light out. i could not see how big or weather it was a doe or buck.
I rode around for 20 mins or so. It was 54 degrees when i got home.

Am i crazy to do that or just another obessive hunter.
Next time i take a jacket with me.

i thought bout starting on.. i do nothing but talk bout. my gf and my best best friend and his wife went to dinner l;ast night. thewy made us talk nothing bout hunting. that onlu lasted to the waiter asked out the camo hat i had (mossy oak treestand) the next thing you know where talking bout hunting again

Absolutely! I don't ever want this feeling to go away. Feeling all hyped up; can't sleep; constantly day-dreaming and running different scenarios through my mind. All the anticipation builds until finallyI'm finally just settling intomy stand on opening morning. It's dark... still 45 minutes until first light. Listening to the forest night life (that most will never see) all around me. Thenthe sky starts to lighten and finallythe fiber optic pins gather enough light to be visible and I know it's game time! Jeez, I can't wait!
