RE: Sorry Rob.....Doe down in NC
What are the temps like there?
What type of broadheads do you use?
I hear ya, Matt. I never had a chance to hunt this woodlot....but we'll SURELY get in there next time. We have PLENTY of room to spread out. I couldn't believe how expansive it is when you get in there. I ended up seeing 6....and had 5 of them in bow range.
What kind of release did you elect to use this year?
PT....I don't sharpen the tips. That's just a "primer"
Doe went 40 yds....and I watched her pile up. She was dead in less than 10 seconds.

I hunt from 23', Brandon. I have a 25' haul line....and when it gets taut.......I'm "there"....lol.
I really can't get over how "deery" it looks in this woodlot. I had them come from 3 different directions.....but I was honestly hoping I'd find a good buck travel route. I know I need to move, now....lol. I'm heading up the ridge, tomorrow....if I get the right wind. I saw one head there and one come from there. "WE" (yes, WE) will need to get in there, early.
My son wants to go with me, tomorrow. I'm washing our camo, right now.
