Why the big secret anyway. If the bows are being produced get them to market. I think they ought to be released before Nov too, that's way too late to make a decession and be ready for hunting season. Should be introduced in June/July.
Maybe because dealers are still trying to sell 08' bows during the busy summer season?
It IS 2008.

Why do they release them this time of year?

Rick, Bowtech does not want to leave their dealers with 08 bows in stock when the 09's are not being shipped. The leak by a dealer (presumably) was unjust and against everything Bowtech asked from them/him.

Yeah, Our 2008 season starts OCTOBER 18th and goes till November 16th.

Introduce the bows November 1st when everyones archery season is well underway and the pre hunting season selling season is over. They will arrive in plenty enough time for theChristmas selling season. We don't all live and work in theMidwest ya know.

Don't most of us make the decision on what bow to hunt with in Novemberway back in May, June, July?

Is BowTech completely changing their line up this year? They're coming out with 6 new bows this year.

I really like the looks of the new riser designs very sharp. No numbers that have been listed really jump out at me, but I think Bowtech took a lot of the good things they were doing and made some improvements on them so that should be good.

It is curious to see the SWAT and Sniper having standard cable guards with the majority of the line-up carrying the cable rollers.

It looks like Bowtech will have another big selling year this year. We certainly have enough choices.

I believe I can answer you question about them moving the suppressors. On my new 101stI was having problems with the string loop rotating around the string after every shot. I had it tightened and retied a few times but still had the problem. I took it back to the shopand spoke toone of the more knowledgeable guys. He told methe suppressor isto close to loop causing it to snap around. I had an after market one put on in the lower position and problem solved. There was also a problem with the kisser buttons not staying on and being to close to old suppressor. It also seems to quieter now. Ken
