whats your veiw on michigan YOUTH/DISABLED VETERANS HUNT
I just want other hunting to maybe pray or at least wish luck to the michigan youth and disable hunters who will be taking to the woods this weeked.
My brother while servein oversea was hit by an IED to damage to left leg and the loss of all his fingers on his right hand, leaveing his thumb we were able to custom make a release that will enable him to shoot with his thumb and i really really hope he gets a deer since oct 13 it will be 2 year since the incident and i know this might get him back on track to being who he use to be. i know what he went through i myself spent time there and its hard. i love michigan youth and disable vetrans hunt..gtive me your mind on iton it
thank you so much

Thanks your brother for me and I will thank you personally!! I think any opportunity we get to help a disabled Pal get in the woods is great.
I have a guy I tuck under my wing and give up alot of time and stands to get him out there. Last year he shot a doe we never recovered but I put him back out there for ML and he popped a beat up/broken up buck and you would have thought it was a state record. He was like a kid at Xmassand I wouldn't have traded his kill for anything!!

I thnk these hunts are a great idea. First, as a vet, I think anything we can do for these men and women is well deserved. I also think the youth hunts are vital for the continuation of the sport. Too many kids would rather sit in front of the TV.
Best wishes for a productive hunt!

i think it his a very good thing for us but the thing is states around the country are making it to were we cant get involved in hunting tell we are 12 to 14. I mean this helps kids from getting in trouble so i say yes it is good.also i would like you to tell him good luck personaly.i hope he gets one and i hope i see one

I think its a great Idea. Veterans deserve it, and it is a good chance to take your kids without it cutting into your personal hunting time. I agree that the age should be lower than 12, especially when an adult is with them anyway.
