Imade aquick visit to one of my favorite bowhunting spots a few weeks ago since I had 20 min to kill before work.
I almost stepped in this.
I will be bowhunting this spot again this yearfor the deer that made a drop this large![Big Grin](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Dropping size doesn't really give an indication of body size, it corelates more to what was eaten and how much. One of the largest turds I've ever seen came out of a five year old girl my wife babysits, deer are no different in that respect.

Did you taste it to see what he was feeding on?
As for dropping size I believe that a mass clumped dropping size does corrilate to body size
( not the size of the individual pellets contained within the clump ).
A larger deer also has a larger anis ( forgot how to spell it )
as well as a larger size colon than a smaller deer.
I have seen smaller deer make droppings in the same spot at the same time of year and examined the size of the mass clumps, and it hasreinforced by belief that themass clump dropping size does corilate to body size.
But enough of what I think I know about Poop
