Here is a short vid we got of a decent buck last night Ive been trying to get a shot at.Ive seen him coming out to the beans several times pre season scouting. I decided to give it a try yesterday after finally getting a favorable wind. We saw him at about 6PM come up fromthe bedding area heading to the beans about 60 yards from my stand I had set up abovethe bigbedding area I thought he was using, rats!! So close but I was pretty dead on for figuring him out. We were 30 or so yards inside the field edge in a staging area above the bedding area. We thought he had moved well out into the field after we lost sight of him in the beans about 30 minutes prior to this so we figured it was safe to get down and sneak out the long way around so we didnt bump him. But, once we got out of the stand and walked up slowly to the field edge glassing to make sure it was clear, this dude popped out of a little island in the beans about 80 yards out. Ive walked by that island for 7 years and use it as a shield to block my skyline coming in and out of that stand, never bumped a deer there. Larry, the guy on the camera let out the explative after saw how nice he was for the first time and after we may have alerted him,wind was in our favor, but he definately didnt like something. Oh well, that may be it for him until the rut. I wont be back there for another week or so before I give it another try. Not real sure how big he is, but that doesnt matter, hes nice and Im guessing at least 4.5 years old. Sorry for the shaky video,we didnt havea tripod ready,it was a quick see what we get.

Well, he doesn't look boogered up too bad. It looks like he could tell something wasn't right, but just didn't know what it was. He didn't seem to be looking in your direction.

Hopefully you'll get a crack at him. Those would be some big points for team 38.
