Default buying new bow, need help

Hey everyone my cousin is buying a new bow this week and we were hoping to get some advice. We have been researching Matthews and Hoyt and he cannot pick between the two. He is looking at the Matthews DXT or Drenaline or the Hoyt Katera or Vectrix. Can you please leave all the advice and information you can to help us pick. We are looking for the best warranty and good reasons to pick one over the other. Thank you.

Both companies are great manufacturers and have some great bows. As stated many times in posts like this one he should shoot them all and see which one fits him best. That is how I came to my decision with the bow I got this year.

He just needs to shoot them and I sure wouldn't restrict myself to the 2....especially the two most expensive....I had made my mind up to buy a new bow this year and shot a bunch, then ended up buying a diamond Black Ice based on how if felt to ME!!!

He would like to shoot them but he is left handed and the bow shops we have around our area do not keep them. In order to get a new bow he has to order the one he wants.

Unless he needs it for the season, Hoyt and Mathews will be releasing new models in a couple of months. Hang around until then, because you will pay roughly the same price for newer models as the Drenalin and the Katera.
