Default Tree Stand Height

When you say that your stand is 20', is that to the seat, or the standing platform? Just trying to see how most guys measure them.

Yep. I'll call it 20' if I'm using a 20' climbing stick, even though the platform and normally the seat are a tad lower.

I use a climber and use the platform height. If I have a 20 foothaul line connect to the hand climber section I know I'm about 20 when the bow is lifted off the ground.
