i did the same thing took less than 3 days for the pain to go away and about another 7 to get my vision full restored. my dr put a clear contact lense in my eye to protect it and the pain was greatly reduced

I hope for a speedy recovery. I was hunting on a farm yrs ago and got something in my eye. I thought it was my allergies. It lasted for 3 days until I just couldn't see anymore out of it. I got home and went to the hosp., they said there was nothing wrong but sent me to a specialist just in case. The specialist looked and said you have a small thorn in your eye....... and it looks like a skating rink after some heavy folks have been skating. 3 days late I was A OK

I was flopping on the garage floor like a fish out of water! I was going to punch the car but did not think broken knuckles would be wise!!LOL
Around here...we call that"THE CRAPPIE FLOP" hahaha I had kinda hadthe samething happen last year while on the ATVwhile going to check a camera, but it was a stick (could lost the eye really)took about a week to heal. Hopefully you'll be ready by your opener.

man what is it with you people geesh, its like your finding every excuse not to hunt this year. You have two eyes, use them. I always shoot with both eyes open anyway.

Are you sure your wife didn't sock you cause you told her you were going hunting instead of her parents house for dinner.
