    Very true....if i woulda wounded him and didnt find him my season would be over becuase I woulda killed a deer. Even if I didnt find him I wouldnt hunt anymore this year most likely. I dont want to take more bucks than necessary.

    Better that you clean missed him than to have hit himwith a non-lethal shot. You will have the opportunity for another shot on this healthy buck in the future.
