Checked Hang-On Stand found BIG Surprise
I went last week to check on one of myhang-on stands and found a BIG surprise. No, my stand was still there as some of you might be thinking it was stolen. It had\still has a hornets nest hanging from the bottom of the platform. I guess I will leave that stand sit until cold weather. Has anyone else ran across hornets trespassing on your stands?

Get some spray, and get rid of it. No hornets ever for me, but I did have a hand-tp-hand combat with a porcupine. I won, but I think I got the worse end of the deal, lots of quills in the legs and arms. Finally ended up killing him with my Buck 110, stabbed him to death!

Found a big nest between the seat and platform in one of my friends stand he leaves up all year long.
It had feathers , small bones and bird dropings all over it and from the size of the nest it had to be from some type of hawk or egeal.
