Default Hunter Safety System???

Any of you guys use the HSS? I am thinking about getting one because I hate trying to put the "linesmen" type on in the dark, can't really tell which end goes where, and the old style hook around your waist only, doesn't put my mind to ease like it use to. For those that have one or used to have one, are they worth the $$$.

Deleted for skirting profanity filter!

I'm thinking of getting one this season as well. I'm tired of fighting with the straps in the dark. They had a knockoff version at Dick's sporting goods for $70.

I have one and used it for the first time last week in SC. It really worked well. Easy to deal with, put it on before you get to the stand to avoid clicking noises. I got a second belt to go around really fat trees, the original that came with it was just a bit short for a tree I had to be in. I felt safe with it on, I was about 30 feet up video taping anothe hunter.

So it comes with everything needed? I seen like "speed fasteners" and "life lines", are those just added access.?
