RE: Making the decision to shoot......or not
Just do it.....answer to no one but your self. If I want to shoot, I shoot, 1/4 of my life is mine, 100% of the time. I set a standard at125 P&Yand if no one likes it, I dont care.

RE: Making the decision to shoot......or not
I pretty much get locked onto anbuck that "gets to me" which usually means he's an old buck and has some decent head gear to go with it. I get tunnel vision and really don't care much about any other deer unless a "BIG SURPISE" happens to show up then I'd whack him too.. I've never seen a 2.5 year old in my woods that Iwould "get to me" these days.. Back when I wasa young hunter the 2.5's looked great and I was very happy when I killed them. To make me happy now, I want to kill an old buck. The 3.5s are tweeners imo and some really look good while others really need another year to interest me. The last 3.5 I shot was in 04. Doubt I will shoot another here in my home state again unless I miss judge it..
