Human food in the woods

RE: Human food in the woods
On an all day sit I’ll have trail mix, chewy granola bars, or power bar type things. Usually an apple too. Water to drink or some propel. I don’t worry about the food scent much, but I do put them in baggies or the plastic Ziploc containers. Keep things from getting squished.

PB&J sandwiches, beef jerkey, granola bar, vienna sausages, etc. I also take a water or gatorade. I don't worry about peeing in bottles. I let it fly. I've had so manydeer near my stand after peeing that I feel confident I don't need to use a bottle.
I kinda think you are going over board with the no food scent and steam rule.

Ya, I piss all around my treestand and have deer come up and smell it, but never spook. I shot my first bow deer 2 min after I pissed out of the stand (she was standing in the same place I pissed). They can tell its urine but can't distinguish it as human urine. I pee in scrapes and mock scrapes any chance I get, come back and its been heavily used. I think thats one myth that needs to be busted.

DropTine249, You're going to ruin all your good treestand spots if you're eating all that bark off the tree you're sitting in! Any preference for bark tastes? I like a nice white birch. Lol.
