I hunt in Coleman county so I'm not too far from you so the terrain should be about the same. I hunt out of a lock on next to an old river bottom sometimes. It's located between their bedding area and a big draw they sneak up and down in. I also hunt a feeder out ofa 18 fttripodstand. I have it located on the edge of a slope that runs down to the creek. I shot the Rage 2-Blade last year and loved it. Before that I shot Wack'em 100 gr 3-Blades. Just remember, if you hunt out of a pop-up blind that has shoot through netting, shoot a fixed blade.

I hunt in Harper(Kimble county). I use a lot of tripod stands. It can be real hard to find a tree straight enough to hook a stand to and be confortable. I use the rage 2 blade. They have served me wll the last 2 years.
