STILL undecided, BROADHEAD AND ARROWS!!!
Hey guys,
I am STILL undecided on what arrows and broadheads to buy for the new bow. So, if I can' t decide, I figured that I would ask for some help.
My set-up is going to be
2003 BowTech MightyMite (30" draw, 72# draw weight, 80% let-off)
It will be equipped with
Toxonics Hybrid III sight
N.A.P. QuickTune 3000 Micro Arrow Rest
8" Stealth Hunter Stabilizer
BuckWing braided Bow Sling
Dusk Vision Peep Sight
Simms String Leech' s
Simms Stealth Limb Savers
Simms Cable Rod Dampeners
Simms Cable Slide
Simms Mini Limb Savers (one on arrow rest, one on sight)
Camo Release Loop
Kwikee Kombo Kwiver
Kisser Button
Tru-Fire Tornado Release
I will be shooting 31" arrows, and I want carbons. I am more than likely going to go with some good mechanical broadheads, but, I just don' t know what yet.
Here is a few of the options that I was looking at
Arrows--
31" Beman I/C/S/ Camo Hunter 400' s at 9.5 grains per inch.
31" Black Hawk Vapor Camo 4000 (havn' t found any grains per inch ratings)
31" Easton Carbon Epic 300 at 9.28 grains per inch.
31" Easton Carbon Excel 340 at 8.8 grains per inch
31" Easton Carbon Evolution 400 (havn' t found any grains per inch ratings)
31" Game Tracker Terminator Hunter 6075 at 12 grains per inch.
31" Gold Tip Hunter Realtree Camo 55-75 at 8.5 grains per inch.
31" Gold Tip XT Hunt Realtree Camo 55-75 at 8.5 grains per inch.
Broadheads--
Rocky Mountain Snyper 100 grains
Rocket Steelhead 100 grains
Rocky Mountain XTreme 100 grains
Rocky Mountain Revolution 100 grains
Vortex Mini-Max 100 grains
N.A.P. SpitFire 100 grains
Rocket AeroHead MiniBlaster 4L
Rocket Steelheads Stealth Rocket 100 grains
Wasp Jack Hammer SST Selet A Cut 100grains
Pucketts Bloodtrailer 3 WedgeHead
I am probablly missing some, but that is what I can think of right now.
I am looking to keep my bow fast, as I can still shoot it very well at fast speeds, but, I would also like to get the highest amount of KE from it.
I want to have a DEVISTATING broadhead. I want something that is going to leave an exit hole that will make you turn away. But, I want something tough, and that flies exactly like field points.
So, pretty much, I am just trying to see which combination (arrow/broadhead) the most people like.
I will be ordering my arrows and broadheads this Friday, so, I need your help a.s.a.p.

RE: STILL undecided, BROADHEAD AND ARROWS!!!
JMHO - But from what you' ve listed I would go with the Goldtips and Nap Spitfires.
If your budget conscious :
I would go with the GT Hunters.
If your not :
I' d go with the GT XT' s and Pro-series Spitfires .
But really ,most any of those other combinations would be good !
