A Biologist??? How many acres do you have that you need a Biologist to tell you what to shoot???

Just didn't seem like it was headed right, BHF......but I HUNT 250 or so (not adjoining). We (Bio. and I) base everything (my records - his recommendations)on the herd he thinks I'm hunting.....which is inside about 2.23sq. mi.

No worries there Jeff, I just thought that Biologists were used for the big places with thousands of acres to manage, like the these game farms so to speak!

Is there a cost for his services??? Would be a bad gig to have!

Nope. No charge. He's even come out to my home. We've walked the land, together, too.

He's an email away....and I've gone to that well plenty. Chris is a great guy. He's offered to come out and talk to the surrounding landowners........those that let us hunt and those who don't (on HIS time).

Whatever the NCWRC is paying him....it isn't enough.

I shot one once just before I was leaving for college in January and it had alot of ground shrinkage. I got grief from alot of people, but they did not refuse the handoutI gave them for the table.
