Default A Tale of Two BowTech 82nds!

I was very skeptical early this year when I ordered my Airborne 82nd. I already had a 101 and was liking it very well. The Speed of the 82 caught my attention and I had to try it for myself regardless of my concerns about the short BH.

My worries were soon put to rest when my Airborne 82nd in APG arrived, and I had time to set it up and shoot arrows through it a few weeks. The Bow was very impressive in many ways, Quiet, Accurate, and Very Fast!!

Bow is outfitted as follows:
1. Octane quiver in matching APG
2. HHA Optimizer Ultra
3. Limb Driver in matching APG
4. BowJax insert for ShortStop
5. 7" Octane Stabilizer in matching APG
6. Sling Braid Sling
7. 3/16" G5 Meta Peep

Here's a few pics!

After shooting the 82nd for a while and realizing how well this Bow fit me I knew I was going to have to convert my 101 over to an 82. It is basically a limb change, but I thought while I was at it I might as well finish it in my favorite Camo pattern. So a project was Born!! Hereare the resulting stats:
61#, 28" draw

329 grainCX Maxima 312fps 71.13#KE

362 grain CX Maxima Hunter 301fps 72.84#KE

502 grain Easton FMJ's 259fps 74.79#KE

348 grain CX Aramids 306fps 72.37#KE these are probably the arrows I will hunt with the majority of the time this fall. Weight and Speed was taken with the 100 grain Grizz Trick screwed on the end.

I took care to set Cam rotation, Timing, and Draw Stop all to exacting specs.

After shooting these Airbornes most of the Summer I am impressed and realize that the Allegiance has taken a back seat in my Lineup.

Bow is outfitted as follows:
1. Matching Predator Octane quiver (I'm waiting)
2. HHA Optimizer Ultra
3. Limb Driver
4. BowJax Insert for the ShortStop
5. Predator 10" Multi-Rod Doinker
6. Sling Braid Sling
7. Lambeth Custom sideplates
8. G53/16" Meta Peep
9. Lower mount MeanV suppressor custom dipped in Predator
10. Vapor Trail strings with my own custom speed weights that I tuned to maximum benefit.

Dipping a Bow like this does Void the Warranty!

Here are the Pics!!
